.pcf file will not run in 2011 Ceasar 2 - 01/22/13 10:00 AM

I have a .pcf file generated from Solidworks 2012. It will not
run in Ceasar 2 2011 version 5.30. We have never be able to
get a .pcf file to work in Ceasar. I sent the file to Solidworks and they examined it with the conclusion that the file should work in Ceasar. There were no errors when the file was generated and it collected all the information it was suppose to for Ceasar to run the analysis. Has anybody had a similar experiance and were you able to resolve the issue.

Maibe it works in 5.31 (Caesar 2011 R1)

Could you log a Service Request at eCustomer (https:\\crmweb.intergraph.com\) and attach the PCF file, we will be happy to take a look at it.

If you have not signed up on eCustomer yet, please so so at https:\\crmweb.intergraph.com\ by clicking the "I'm a new user" link, then the "click here" link on the first bullet of the next page. You will need to fill out a short form with your name/e-mail/etc., the submittal process should take two (2) minutes or less. Shortly after you submit the account request form, you will receive an e-mail with your login information.

Once your login information is received, logon to the eCustomer at https:\\crmweb.intergraph.com\ and submit a service request (SR) by clicking the "Submit a Service Request" link. This is a very short and easy process requiring only that you describe the issue and submit. As soon as submitted Intergraph Technical Support (we) will be in touch with you to help resolve the issue.

Signing up on eCustomer will take very little time and will give you access not only to a wider range of Intergraph resources assisting with submitted issues or SRs, it will also give you direct access to Intergraph’s knowledge base articles, latest product updates, and much more.

Hi Dominik,

I'm sorry but I can't obtain an account on eCustomer. The corporation have several but all on CAD department, not on stress department. I can ask everytime I need something a coleague of mine to open a SR, but it have limited access. This is why I couldn't open a SR regarding the supports import from SP3D and other things. I still believe that the pcf import is the future, maybe others will contribute.

I saw the webinar, I tried some things but I'm limited.

I hope you can do a partnership with some engineering company that can help you to develop further this interface.

Hello Dan,

It just takes few minutes to open an account in the support portal. It gives you access to whole host of knowledge base articles and you can review progress on your requests and see where they are in the backlog.

Sorry, I'm not US or Canadian customer, so it is much more difficult. I was redirected, then because may company have plenty accounts, I couldn't get another one.
