Bend Angle on the Buried Pipeline - 12/30/12 07:06 AM

Hi all members

I have problem on my model for buried pipeline
when I want to run the model. I recieve this message
Bend angle on element 23705 to 23706 is 0.03 Deg: it must be betwwen 0.10 and 95.00 Deg

Could you check my model?
My model in the attachment.

Please someone help me

Adjust the minimum allowed bend angle in the Configuration.

But the minimum allowed bend angle is 0.1 Deg and my model is below after buried calculation

Please see the attachment in the first post and try to run
you will recieve message the same which I inform in the first post

That is the limit for the dialog. However, the configuration file is a text file, you can edit with NotePad. In your data directory, edit "caesar.cfg", find the directive for the minimum bend angle, and set this value to 0.02.

Is this a very large radius bend? Your lateral bearing length must be very short, perhaps too short to be real/correct.
This value is based on your entered soil data. I think you should review your soil data. And, check your units.
