Caesar API 650 Calculation vs Hand Calculation Inconsistency - 11/07/12 08:38 AM

Hello,

I am using Caesar 5.30 and I have made an API 650 Nozzle Deflection and allowable calculation. I have also made an hand calculation and check whether the results are consistent.

But it seems that they are far way from each other and the results of Caesar do not seem to be logical.

The connecting pipe is 16" and the longitidunal allowable moment is 6444 Nm in the caesar output.??

Since it is not possible to see the intermediate steps of the Caesar analysis it is impossible for me to check the results of caesar .

Please look at the two attachments and see the difference...

I looking for your reviews/ comments
