What are files that could be regarded as "input" file? - 02/14/06 10:21 AM

Duo to the scope of work, the contractor could only provide CAESAR II input file to us to reproduce the CAESARII model. I am asking what are those files needed to minimize the effort.

BTW, I recalled I read somewhere explanation of each file used by CAESARII but could not locate them anymore. If someone knows it, please let me know.

Many thanks

The file list can be found in the Appendix of the Technical Reference Manual.

If they gave you the input (_a) file, then you have the model. However, without the _J file, you don't know what load cases were run. Without the configuration file (caesar.cfg) you don't know if they made any modifications to the default behavior of the software. Go back to them and ask for these files - it will make your life easier.
