Load Case-built - 07/10/12 02:21 AM

Dear all,

How we built the load case for the following conditions....

1) sustained+thermal+equipment deflection + Hog/Sag (Still water, wave Induced)(half disp. Range) + Hog(Construction Site) (half disp. Range)+Wave Acceleration (Onsite)

2)sustained+thermal+equipment deflection + Hog/Sag (Still water, wave Induced)(half disp. Range) + Hog(Construction Site) (half disp. Range)+ Transient Load.

what is Half disp. Range and how we considered in analysis?

Please Help in urgent manner

Thanks

Half disp. range means to consider an "amplitude" only in the analysis (e.g. reversing +/-10mm disp, consider 10mm only in analysis; NOT 20mm). Read ASME-III-NB/NC, stated for "reversing and non-reversing" dynamic loads, consider half-disp. range only (an amplitude).

Thanks,
Please guide me for below conditions..

1) sustained+thermal+equipment deflection + Hog/Sag (Still water, wave Induced)(half disp. Range) + Hog(Construction Site) (half disp. Range)+Wave Acceleration (Onsite)

Dear All,

In Full Displacement stress range, we have to considered Temperature (T1), hog (D1), Sag (D2), Structural Displacement in X dir (D3), Structural Displacement in Y dir (D4),How we considered the load case for the above conditions
