Dual Laminate

Dual Laminate - 06/04/01 02:32 PM

I am just starting to use Caesar and I think I have started with somthing a little complicated.

Has anyone modeled Dual Laminate piping?

If so, what are some tips or suggestions to make sure I model it correctly? The manufacturer of the pipe stated that they have not found a program that can model it accuratly. I was wondering if this was the case or if the manufacturer was just trying to get more work their way to model it themselves using their data and methods.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Ben

Ben,

Your question is too vague. I suggest that you use a trade name and catlaog number or go in to a specific technical description of this piping system.

For instance you describe this as "Dual Laminate" A dual laminate of FRP to Carbon Fibers.... what wind angles, how are they laminated together etc. ?

So more information is a neccesity.

Ben,

Can you provide any additional details on your pipe material?
