UKOOA Code, Cold Allowable Stress Error - 04/23/12 08:17 AM

I'm running some analysis on FRP ducting and when running the error checker am getting an error (253E) saying my cold allowable stress is not defined. Because of this, I'm not able to add the T1 term in my load cases. I'm using the UKOOA code and cold allowable stress is not an input. Any ideas what's going on here?

Thank you.

Probably, the fastest way to get your answer is uploading you C2 file.

You are right. Error message 253E should be applied for steel material, not for FRP. Could you please send me your model, so I can take a look at it?

My email address is: XIAOJUN.LU@INTERGRAPH.COM

Thanks

Mr. Lu,

I've sent you the .c2 file. Please let me know what you find out or if you need anything further.

Thanks.

I checked your job.

It is a warning message, which should not prevent you from going into load case editor. And it will not affect your results.

I will fix the wrong message in next build.
