Help: Caesar 2 crashed on Piping Input and 3D Plot - 01/30/12 11:42 AM

Hi,

Problem:
If I select OpenGL as the Video Driver, Piping Input works properly, but 3D Plot on the Static Output Processor crashed the program.

If I select Windows Basic Video as the Video Driver, 3D Plot works properly, but Piping Input crashed the program.

If I select Direct 3D, both 3D Plot and Piping Input crashed the program.

I tried reinstalling Caesar 2 but still having no luck. Searched through the forums and Google but couldn't find any can fix the problem.

Please Help. Thanks in Advance.

Hardware:
Toshiba Laptop R850.
Display card: ATI AMD Radeon HD 6450M

Display Driver Version:
Display card driver - 8.801.2.3-110302a-114754C-Toshiba (latest)
OpenGL Version - 6.14.10.10362
Direct3D Version - 8.14.10.0798

You would think that Video Card would work, but it is not listed here, on the TechSoft3D web site.

See if ATI has a later driver available for your video card. (I know, you said you had the latest, but please recheck anyway.) What is your OS?

It seems like the Caesar 2 patch released yesterday fixed the issue.

Thanks Richard!!
