Creep temperature for A691 1 1/4 CR

Hi all

For A691 1 1/4 Cr from what temperature, it is in creep range.

Can I use liberal stresses allowable at 460 Deg C.

Hi sathya,
None of the code has mentioned to use liberal stress for particular temperature.Liberal stress can be used for any temperature or any material either CS or SS or Alloy. Always Use Liberal stress as a last option to pass your Thermal stress.

Hi Danb,
Thanks for posting valuable link which helped me to understand better on Liberal stress option. Hence i suggested Sathya to use liberal as a last option to pass expansion stress.In caesar this option is used only to increase the allowable displacement stress range but actually computed expansion stress on a particular node remains same only.
