Static /Dynamic combination method (ALG/ABS/SRSS)

Request you to clarify regarding Static /Dynamic combination method (ALG/ABS/SRSS) to be use while evaluating loads on supports and nozzles due dynamic conditions and design shall be compliance to B31.3.

1) While performing Slug flow analysis using Water Hammer/Slug flow (spectrum) method.

2) Seismic analysis using Earthquake(spectrum) method.


3) Why "ALG" combination type is not available in CASESAR-II (Dynamic module section)?

Request you also to provide basis for suggested combination methods i.e references /technical argument .

I would rather suggest you please refer "CAESAR TECHNICAL REFERENCE" - Load case definations in Caesar II. It will clarify most of your queries.
