how to import or export load cases......

hi to all,
Can you one please tell me how to import and export load cases from the finished pipe stress model files to a news model with out editing same finished pipe analysis loads cases in the new model.

The Static Load Cases are in file *._J. So here's how I do this.

1. Open a system that has the load cases you want (in the graphical editor). Lets assume the file opened is named "Runner.C2".
2. Goto to your data folder and make a copy of the "Runner._J" file and name it "Static_Load_Cases._J"
3. Open up the system you want to include the load cases from "Runner.C2". Lets'a assume this system is named "NewClone.C2"
4. If the original load case includes uniform, wave, or wind loads, reinput those before proceding to step 5. Also make sure the Static Load Case Editor is not open.
5.Goto to your data folder and if the file "NewClone._J" exists, delete it. Copy the "Static_Load_Cases._J" and name the copy "NewClone._J"
6. Close the NewClone system and reopen it and your static load case should be there.
7. Repeat Steps 3-6 for all the systems you want the load cases in.

... or, you could just use the button [Import Load Cases] ...
