Many of our Clients are interested whether there were some agencies?
approvals of Caesar II? MEN (Mechanical Engineering News) release of
October 1996 says that Stoomwezen is the only governmental organization,
which approves engineering software, and there are no U.S. agencies that
approve engineering software. Has something changed since that time? Was
this software approved by any other agencies of the world?

The article you reference is still correct, and applicable - even today, 10 years later.

I stand to be corrected on this response, but I believe the Norwegian governmental authority DNV (Det Norske Veritas) also approves/disapproves software. The Dutch Stoomwezen therefore doesn't stand alone! From my own recent dialogue with DNV, I know they accept the use of CAESAR as well as the Scandinavian favourite 'Triflex'. But since DNV is involved with all things to do with Oil & Gas in Norway and many other countries too, they have a huge stock of various programs to choose from (F.E., Structural etc.) and to which they must have therefore evaluated and 'approved' over the course of time. They are most cordial in their response to enquiries, so why not give them a shout?
