Are there any definitions for how the thicknesses are defined when applying the impact test exemptions of UHA-51? Specifically for Duplex stainless steel the limit is 3/8" (10mm), how would this thickness be defined for a flange or flathead or tubesheet?

Hello Tom

The PV Elite team has to look more closely at UHA-51. The requirements for austenitic steels are fairly clear, but duplex steels more consideration.
