I would like to know if i run an old calculation (file created with PV elite 2010) in PV elite 2011 , then that will be in accordance with the latest code or i want to do it from beginning in PV elite 2011.

The 2011 version of PV Elite addresses the 2010 version of ASME Section VIII, Division 1 and 2. If you load a file created in the 2010 version of PV Elite in to the 2011 version of PV Elite, it will be updated automatically to the latest code. If you do not want that, then leave the file as 2010 version PV Elite file and do not load it into PV Elite 2011.
