Hi, All

In the Tubesheet dialog, there's a blank to enter a value for Weld Leg at back of Tubesheet at Tubesheet Properties Tab.

PV Elite seems to use same calculation procedure even when I enter the value. But according to Fig. UHX11.1(d), it shall use different procedure for different Tubesheet geometry, so can anyone explain what exactly the value is going to do ?

Thanks in advance

Hi Shane,

Figure 11.1(d) is for tubes that are welded to the backside (inner surface) of the tubesheet.

On the Tubesheet Dialog, the weld leg you are referring to is the one that connects the tubesheet to the shell. I believe this value is used for clearance checking.
