Hi, appreciate if anyone could advice how to model a jacketed nozzle onto a jacketed conical shell:

"I have a jacketed nozzle of 6-inch product nozzle of (590kPa@190degC)jacleted with an 8-inch steam (450kPa@190degC).The fabrication meets the figure in appendix 9 of ASME Viii.

These is attached to a jacketed conical shell of (590kPa@190degC) internal pressure jacketed with steam at (450kPa@190degC). The large diameter, small diameter and design length are 3312mm, 1237mm and 1976mm respectively."

Hi,
I don't think this can be modelled. You should analyse the nozzle in Codecalc for all the different design configurations/conditions as it is a complicated arrangement and needs careful consideration.
Thats how I have done it before.
