Hi everyone,

- I'm PVelite user for calculation of pressure vessel and heat exchangers.

- Whenever I design horizontal vessel with axial in/outlet nozzle (In/outlet nozzle weld to reducer for channel section), I've no where to check for nozzle loading.

- I believe that WRC 107 is only for joint stress check due to the nozzle loading. So program doesn't provide the place to calculate nozzle loading for flanges which are directly welded to vessel axially.

- But practically, these flanges are connecting to external pipe line also. So client side always ask to check nozzle loading for these nozzle.

- So can anyone help me answer how to calculate nozzle loading (force/moment) for these nozzle.

- Or reason/clarification if it's not required to check also.

- Or can anyone recommend any like to solve my problem.
