Hi,
I'm getting an error with the following configuration:
Horizontal Vessel Elliptical head with nozzle Material SA351 CF8M High Strength Metric
When I change the design temperature say from 100°C to 125°C I get the following error "Temperature Violation"
Go to -> Nozzle Input/Analysis -> Quick Calculation Result
The program has set the nozzle stress at temperature, Sn = 0 N/mm²
The error disappears when I re-select the nozzle material
also the error only occurs with "Metric Material Database"
Thanks Neil

Hi Neil,
We'll have a look at it. But you should really file a TR or issues like these. That is the official way.

Hi Neil,
This issue occurs when the metric material database is selected and the particular material has stress values that populate the entire temperature range, like SA-351 CF8M.
As a workaround, enter the temperatures first on the first element before you select your materials and start adding nozzles and other details.
This issue will be fixed in the first service pack.
Best regards,

Hello Neil We have a customer support system. Basically, you go to https://crmweb.intergraph.com/. You will find a link eCustomer (only if you have a login password). Otherwise, near that link you will find another link that says ... user login, click here...., click that link to request a a login password. If all else fails, you can phone 1-800-766-7701 to get help. If you still have difficulties, please let me know.

Hi Neil,
TR is shorthand for Trouble Report. As you are not in the USA, you may need to contact Intergraph UK for help in the future.
