Dear All,

1) Our client has provided loads as per load convention of WRC 297.

In PVelite software, software approach is different than WRC 297.

As per my understanding radial load (P), Longitudinal shear load (VL), circumferential shear load (VC) and Longitudinal bending moment (ML) are to be entered in PVElite with a negative sign to satisfy PVElite approach. Please confirm/comment.

2) Our client also specifies to check the loads (stresses) for both positive and negative conditions. Does it mean to change the sign of each load and do the analysis again? (thus there are 2 loading conditions)

PV Elite provides a thumbnail sketch on the input screen for the loads. That is the convention PV Elite uses.
