Hello,

We have latest PV Elite software but there is no Trunnion lifting lug calculation so please let me know, in future are you going to include this because for columns it is most preferable.

Thanks,

Regards,
Sameer

Hello Sameer

We are adding features to PV Elite all the time, and trunnions were not included. You can to trunnion design in CodeCalc.

Alternatively, you use nozzles as trunnions, and apply appropriate loads.

I was a vessel engineer for many years, and I discouraged the use of trunnions except in the case of small vessel. It is so easy to have an overstress situation. I have always been conscious of safety.
