Which forces & moments will be considered in the WRC Analysis for the Nozzle having Pump Mounted on this Nozzle?

Hi Ketan,

The loads that cause the highest stresses are the radial load, longtitudinal moment and circumferential moment. Typically the shear forces do not cause high stresses. If you have all of the loads, you should enter them all in. This would be most correct.

pump is mounted on the 24" blind flange of the nozzle. From where to get the data of force/moment? Data to be entered should be for 24" size or the inlet connection size of the pump?

Hi ketan daraji

You have to know the weight and the centre of gravity of the pump. From that information, you should be able to work out the moments. As Scott mentione, the shear forces are not so important.
