I'm designing a 2" nozzle on a shell. Shell ID/Th are 1500/10 mm. When i Choose Sch. 40 PVElite says that this is a small opening and reinforcement calculations are not required. That's ok. But when I increase the nozzle schedule to 160 PVElite calculates the reinforcement area while nozzle OD is still the same!!! I'm really confused.

You might be looking at the status bar on the nozzle dialog. Please press the calculator button and have a look at the results. You will probably see the small nozzle note.
