I am using the instrument tags under Graphics/Pipe Ends and they look great in Cadworx but when I open the drawing in Navis it shows the instrument tag and not the ID of the instrument i.e. LCV-220A. Why? and is there a way to make these tags show in Autodesk Navisworks Manage?

Navisworks doesn't work well with block attributes. It *is* a 3D viewer, after all.

Use the "burst" command. It basically takes the block attributes (in this case the instrument ID), and turns it into plain text outside of the block.

It's essentially explode but it maintains the value of the block attribute.

This is a known bug in Navis which seems like they are never going to fix. As a work around I made the attribute invisible and added a piece of text which was a field pointing to the attribute value. That way it shows the text string in Navis instead of the attribute.
