I have two questions.

1. Is there any way to custom select or isolate components, every elbows or flanges for e.g.
2. Can be Isogen data added in live database so it can be visible from Access, and same thing with custom data in database.

Any thoughts on it?

MTOWorx allows you to filter a selection set by object type (or many other fields). Then you can use GCEDIT to update those components.

I don't believe you can get ISOGEN data into the database with OOTB functionality. Custom data should go if you're running a late enough version.
