question - if i have a model xref'd into a dwg, i can't get legacy hidden (viewport shade plot) to see xref layer lineweights (using monochrome.ctb) - but if i use "legacy wireframe" (viewport shade plot) it works!

I don't know what the question is, but I am guessing that you want to know why hidden isn't working. Try to turn off your 3DCLIP. You may not have turned it on, but either it is on, or, you have a solid in your view.

sorry Rod, maybe i can't explain this better - i'm simply using "legacy hidden" as my shade plot on a viewport and the pen line weights are set by layer

If the model is a part of the dwg, i can plot and get line weights (using legacy hidden shade plot on the viewport)... but if i instead xref the same model into the dwg i cannot get line weights to show - i've changed the line weights in the layers of both the dwg file and the xref ...nothing

now here's the weird thing - if i use the viewport shade plot "legacy wireframe" instead, with the model xref'd into the dwg... i get lineweights ...not sure why "legacy hidden" doesn't work? thx
