The data file path is missing info.

It needs "C:\CADworx 2012\Plant" (assuming a default install).

Its a server install: the working have the full path. What can be done if others can still open the data files that are server based, but this one user can't and is showing this reduced path.

My next guess would be to check the LibraryDirectory value for the users imperial.cfg file.

Sadly we are nearly fully server based, Thus we all run the same CFG files while on the same project. He is on the same as me. to no avail.

Does he need the directory added to his autocad support paths, like PID does?

The editor can't find the file to open it. Chances are, CADWorx Plant hasn't been run yet or if it has, an initial CFG file hasn't been selected. This causes a couple of registry entries to be created to indicate which CFG file is active, which the SpecEditor uses to identify where to start looking for files.

It is a config file problem relating to the library path. That or in the SpecInfo field in the actual spc file a different sub directory is listed.

I have shifted to different config files for this user with the same result. We are all running off server based CFG files so we reference the same one, Except a lot of our users have 2010 while this user has 2012. But even after recreating the server cfg from the default Imperial.cfg the issue persist. Also our server based CFG references our Server based Spec and Data Library (LIB_I). Another user who is also running 2012 doesn't seem to have this issue. But what does that leave. I've already checked that he has the security clearance. and If another user can open, then that only leave his individual settings, and I imported another users profile to no avail.... I'm just clueless in this case.
