I am running Equipment 2020 R1 with Autocad 2018. When I add a nozzle extension to the bottom of a cylinder the extension points to the North, no matter what angle is put in the "(C) Straight run direction angle" field in the Nozzle Extension dialog box. Has anyone seen this happen? Thank you

What build are you running ? Seems to work on my end. You could also try to modify the layout angle in the main nozzle properties dialog

I have 20.1.0.466. Thanks for verifying that it is a problem on my end and not a problem with the overall program. I can just cheat and do a 3D rotate on the nozzle. Then I can keep moving forward with the work. Thank you

SP1 for 2020 R1 was just released, maybe try installing that.

I have the some problem. It's a bug in program, sent to Support and still waiting on a fix since summer of 2021. This is a bug for both top and bottom nozzles on a horizonal vessel.

My temporary work around was to rotate nozzle .02 degrees and then you can change orientation of nozzle.
