Can anyone help, i have a 10" vessel that one end is a sch 40 weld cap instead of a elliptical head, what is the best way to add this in equipment.

There is an equipment usershape feature, however I have not really used it.

Maybe you can try one of the Tori type heads and then tweak the crown / knuckle radius so it sort of looks like a cap.

I've just used an elliptical head, then adjusted the head factor and length to get the dimensions I need. I actually drew one in Plant and overlaid it in equipment to check the dimensions.
