Has anyone ever been able to get a nozzle to offset on a cone?
I dont think it is possible using the palette. The nozzle must be located where the centerline of the nozzle extends to intersect the Z axis of the cone. Nothing off center.

Anyone been able to do something different?

Not really understanding your question. Even placing the nozzle on the Apex I am able to offset it.

I think you understood my question right, but it is a bit hard to explain.
So I dug in to it a bit further. I can do an offset, but the program limits me in some certain situations even when I know it should work. I guess what I want to know is what those limitations are.

I suggest you play around with it a bit more. Don't use the apex option.

here is an example:
I placed a cone, changed the bottom dia to 12". placed a nozzle. move it up 12". offset it 3". tried 4" and it dont work. change the bottom dia of the cone to 18. offset the nozzle 4". change the bottom dia of the cone back to 12".
