I am making progress but still need to show my dummy leg in the drawing space and show it's cut length, see attached:

Any ideas on the steps I am missing?

The only way to show a dummy leg on an iso as pipe, is to use actual pipe.

Using the support modeler requires a slight change of thinking. For example, rather than showing up on a pipe cutting list the dummy leg component references a standard drawing plus a length value. The standards drawing shows all the details, including the cut length.
