Is there any special consideration needed in setting the angular base degrees on the source 3D and/or the iso drawing template used by the iso style?

It appears the north arrow is ninety degrees off now! I have tested by changing I-Configure Overview's setting for the north arrow and also adjusted the angle with no success.

Assistance is appreciated!

As a TEMPORARY FIX, I rotated my 2D gridline reference and 3D model.

Based on the 2D floor plan where the X-axis is at the default CAD angle base setting of zero degrees pointing to the right (or East), the Y-axis is actually at ninety degrees counterclockwise (or North)

HMMMmmmm???

A TEMPORARY FIX was to rotate the model ninety degrees counterclockwise or... the X-axis was North, now the X-axis is West.

Which setting(s) control the output direction desired?

This is quite a humbling learning curve!!!

SOLVED (!!!!) My 2D rectangular column grid layout used was based on a floor plan that was rotated ninety degrees clockwise so that the long side was parallel to 36" side of the ARCH D (24" x 36") border.

HUMBLING....!

There is a rotation switch somewhere in I-Configure. This allows for offsets from North without rotating the entire coordinate system.

Yeah no. IsogenSettings rotates the entire coordinate system which is not what you want in all cases.

The rotation switch is preferable for lines not aligned with north.

This becomes VERY INTRIGUING with input from esteemed colleagues and "heavy hitters" like yourselves.

I will dig further on the web for the particular ISOGEN setting.

In the meantime, I will also monitor this forum much more closely.
