Hello,

Currently have a user getting the following error when trying to ISOGEN OUT:


CADWorx Error Number 1054

CADWorx 64 bit ISOGEN Wrapper is not registered.

Double click the ISOGEN.bat and ISOGEN64.bat file that is located in the ..\CADWorxPlant\Support\ directory

..\CADWorxPlant\Support\ISOGEN.bat

..\CADWorxPlant\Support\ISOGEN64.bat

We are using CADWorx 2016.
There are no files named ISOGEN.bat or ISOGEN64.bat in the Support directory that it points us to.

Anyone had this problem before? Do we know what causes it?

The user had mentioned that the model he is working with had a few User Shapes and he thinks it may have something to do with that but we recreated the shapes after a reinstall of CADWorx and we got the error again. Every time we get this error I have to reinstall as that is the only solution I have found. Once you get the error the first time then you cannot ISOGEN OUT at all no matter what project or .fls file you are using.

In 2016, they changed the batch file to a new name and location.

Try to run the batch file found here:
"C:\CADWorx 2016\Plant\Isogen\I-Configure\pisogenwrapper.bat"

Make sure to right click and Run as Administrator

To add to Matts suggestion, run this from the command prompt.

I have run into instances where running the *.bat file does not work and a reinstall is the only solution.

Thanks for the replies.

I tried running pisogenwrapper.bat from the cmd prompt as administrator to no avail.

Looks like it will be a reinstall. Do we have any idea why we get this error? I have not seen this error before it would be nice to know the cause for future reference.

We suffered with this issue for several weeks. In my case problem was not due to the Registration/pisogenwrapper.cmd file, but due to the compatibility of pisogenwrapper.exe file.
Finally, all users were able to extract "good" isometrics from their m/c, when we Fix the pisogenwrapper.exe compatibility using admin login as shown in the attachment.
I started getting the same error for "bad" isometrics like lines with disconnection, gap etc.
Finally we resolved this issue by installing CADWorx 2018 on the same m/c. finally user can extract isometrics with no issues from both 2018 and 2016 CADWorx.
it also resolved I-configure application launching issue (it used to take several hrs to launch the application due to several window installer popup) for both version.
