I'm using the POD Graphics Processor to populate attributes on my backing sheet from SQL Server, but I'm looking to change the name of the outputted Isometric to a field from the database. I have tried mapping the custom data to attribute 40, and then changing the plot file path to a dynamic naming style like $STYLE$\Drawings\$-640$ but this isn't working, any ideas?

I'm am not sure this is possible with ISOGEN. You can use a post-processing tool like ISOWorx.
