I wish to know the principal theory behind CAESAR II calculation in [counting/calculating] stress, displacement, etc. is there anyone can give me references for it? because my manual calculation by CAESAR II is different.Just for example, With calculation hand i got the actual stress was 1145,6 Kpa but CAESAR II gives the actual stress was 9456,3 Kpa. I used the equation of SL = Sa + Sip + Sb, where:
Sa = axial stress =
Sip = Longitudinal stress due internal pressure = P.Do/4t
Sb = Bending stress = Mb/Z
Why the result was different? How does CAESAR II calculate the Longitudinal stress, force, moment, displacement. Is there any reference that i can read about theory or principal behind CAESAR II ?
