I am running version 4.3 and am trying to print anything from a run on a network drive. Everything works (calculation wise) without a problem. If I try and print anything Ig et the follow error message:

First a Visual Fortran Error is provided (cannot copy data out), then a general windows error is provided, this is copied below:

I am also using the ODBC facility to the file results.mbd in the directory mentioned above.

I moved the files into a directory in the hard drive but still got the error message. I then changed the routing of the ODBC data in the setup/config section away from the network drive and to the local file on my hard drive and this worked. I can now print.

This sort of indicates that there is an issue with printing when the ODBC export is set to a network drive (maybe due to the length of the pathname, this unfortunately cannot change).

Running W98SE and Novel Intranetware (v4.11).

Would be grateful if you could sort this as transfering files back and forward is a pain and somethimes I loose track of what is the latest version.

Ok, I have had to add a couple of sub-dirs intop the local pathname for housekeeping purposes and now I cannot print again.

I have done a screen dump of the Fortran error and will email this to Richard as I cannot upload it anywhere readily.

Any comments. I have tried removing a strange characters or spaces. I can only assume it is down to the number of alphanumerics in the pathname.

Where are you trying to print from? The input module or the output module?
Also, are you using the inline ODBC export (export happens as the job is running) or are you using the ODBC Wizard available in 4.3?

This error occurs when printing from both input spreadsheet and static output processor. I am using the inline ODBC in general, but have used the wizard as well.

By the way this is the pathname I currently have the files in:

C:\My Documents\Projects\Ab530\Caesar\xload\

Any ground covered on this one. Getting a bit narked with having to move files and change ODBC pathnames just print
