While trying to run a Modal Dynamic Analysis, I got the following error "SYNTAX ERROR: Possibly lower case input, or illegal characters."

I'd like to know what cause this error and how to solve it.

This is a little hard to describe in general terms, without looking at your screen. However, when the dynamics input processor detects an error, it puts the error message <font color="#ff0000"> in red</font> just below the input line causing the problem. If you scroll the list box, you should be able to find this. Then, it is just a matter of deciding what is wrong with the line, and changing it.

If you can't figure it out, send me (via e-mail) the ._a file, the ._j file (in case I need to run the job statically), and the ._7 file. I'll take a look at the problem and get back to you.
