Dear Sirs,

When I model an elbow and a miter in Caesar II, software consider same weight for both of them but as you know in large bore piping there is significant difference between weight of these two components. How can I deal with this issue? Why CAESAR II do not calculate the weight of miter bend correctly?

Can you check with following?

1)Model a Miter as per modelling procedure and check the weight
2)Model a normal bend with dimensions as total miter bend height. Keep the bend type as LONG. Check the weight.

Is there significant change in weight??

I modeled elbow and miter(with specifying miter points) according to CAESAR II procedure with same bend radius. And weight of both of them are the same.
