According to B31.3 paragraph 302.3.5 (2012 edition) Sc and Sh have to be limited to 138MPa (20ksi) in computing allowable for EXP, the SA will be limited to 345MPa – SL.

For my case, material is A70 S32750 with Sc and Sh of 266Mpa and 256Mpa respectively and SA from CII result is coming at 397Mpa without even considering liberal stress allowable.

Please help to clarify. Is there is any option in CII to activate this limit in allowable?

What version of CAESAR II are you using?

B31.3 2012 Edition was first implemented in CAESAR II 2014, v.7.00. The limits you discuss above are indeed addressed.

Thank you for clarifying. What I'm using is a lower version.
