It is matter of what value you use for setting a spring. If you set cold load, spring will be set base on the cold(sustain) load, and it support pipe using it. So when plant stopped or just installed, pipe line is aligned. But if you set hot load, which is default in
CAESAR II. Spring will be set base on operating load and at the operating case, and pipe will be aligned at operating condition.
