One of the things analysts are expected to do is to ensure displacements and forces are not excessive, i.e. ensure pipe does not run into other pipe, and flanges are not exceeding allowables.

It would be nice to be able to be able to differentiate from x, y, and z and axial, lateral, and vertical for horizontal piping, as well as which direction axially would be in tension.

Axial displacement allowable is generally higher than lateral or vertical, so this would make it easier to parse the information. A further benefit would be a simple check if displacements exceed allowable specified amounts.

Specifying direction of tension would facilitate analysis of API flanges through API TR 6AF, 6AF1, 6AF2, etc.

I have not dealt with creating custom reports, so I think perhaps it may be possible to combine information from what's found in the Input Echo report with the Restraint Summary and/or Displacements and back this out through Excel magic or perhaps natively within CAESAR.

Thanks for reading.
