I am running analysis as per ASME B 31.8 Ch VIII.
I am using caesar version 5.3

After inputing corrosion allowance & even after setting "ALL CASES CORRODED" to True, I don't see any change in output. All stresses are same including Hoop stress.

Can anyone help me with this?

Is 31.8 cha VIII different than 31.3 in this regards?

The wall thickness used in the calculation of hoop stress for B31.8 ch. VIII is nominal wall thickness. Only for the calculation of combined stress of platform piping and risers(and not for offshore pipeline), the wall thickness used in the shall be based upon specified minimum wall thickness, including manufacturing, corrosion, and erosion allowances.
Read para A842.2.2.
