I'm having an issue displaying the animation module in both static and dynamic outputs. When I click any of the animation buttons, everything grey's out like a module is about to load, but then after a while nothing opens and the current module is active again.

Things that I've tried:
1) Tried all video drivers listed (Windows Basic Video, OpenGL, Direct3D)
2) Re-installing CAEASAR II
3) Loading example models, models from old projects, creating new models.
4) Searching the forum for similar issues: I found a topic below with a similar issue (Item 1) which says I need to copy a dll into the windows directory, but I did not find the details in the FAQ that was linked.

I'm running CAESAR II 2013 R1, which I just installed a couple of weeks ago. Prior to this, I was running CAESAR II 2011 R1 Ver 5.31 Build 120525 but which I never tried running the animation module.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I came across the issue when following Dynamics Part 1: Modal Analysis webinar presented by David W. Diehl and I tried clicking the animation button after running the modal analysis.

We haven't seen this issue, so this will take some investigation. From the "Help" menu, there is an option to "E-Mail Support". This will produce an e-mail template with your machine specifics. Please e-mail that information, along with your job file to "richard dot ay at intergraph dot com".

ISSUE RESOLVED:

Issue was with graphics card driver requiring update.

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 4670
OS: Windows 7 (64-bit)

Driver Versions and Whether Animation Module works:
atiumdag 8.702.0.0 (Catalyst 10.2) / Win7 64 - Animation Module didn't work
atiumdag 8.850.0.0 (Catalyst 11.5) / Win7 64 - Animation Module didn't work
atiumdag 8.970.100.7000 (Catalyst 13.1) / Win7 64 - Animation Module works
