Stress Analysis has to be carried out for a long U/G pipeline and intermediate of these long pipelines, there are some A/G Valve stations.
Please let us know whether the different temperatures has to be considered for A/G and U/G regions or a same uniform operating and design temperatures should be considered...

Unless the sun shines underground in KSA, there will be differing temperatures above and below ground at some times. Whether such differences may be signifcant should be decided by a competent stress engineer.
