Hi to all expert!

Any suggestion is highly appreciated!

Can I directly compare the result of LOCAL ELEMENT FORCES to the vendor nozzle loads availble(e.g PUMPS) because my supervisor said that I should interchange the value from of Fx of vendor to Fz so that I can compare the Local element force of Fx in CAESAR II output.

In my understanding I can directly compared it my result in CEASAR II to the pump vendor allowables.

Correct me if I mistake.

Thank you!

Yes, local loads are aligned with the element's axis. Local "fx" is always axial. There is a large discussion on this topic in the Technical Reference Manual (Chapter 6).
