I require help regarding the procedure for using cutlong in an existing 3" line.

I have a 3" line in along with a restriciton orifice (its basically blow down line). the problem is that restriction orifice thickness has increased by 20mm hence line needs to be pulled for 20 mm ( site people are okay to pull on both downstream & upstream of the orifice). Site is asking us whether pulling of 20mm in a 3" line is a problem. This is the story.
I have modeled the system till availble anchoring points o both sides of RO. I have applied 20mm cutlong with material code 19 in the upstream side of RO". I have taken predefined cases of CAESAR.

Is this the correct procedure for doing cut long ? MY case is unique because i have predefined cut long length,its not iterated backe from loads in the nozzle to reduce loads.

I have gone as per my understanding of cut long guidance given in CAESAR. Please give valuable opinion on the same.

Just make sure you review the discussions on Cold Spring in the User Documentation, and setup the load cases correctly. At least you will satisfy the intent of the Code, the rest is up to the field.
