Hi Richard,
iam working on stress analysis of Turbine piping system. as i need to perform Fatigue analysis

THE pipe material is STAINLESS STEEL, The design Pressure of the line = 2400kpa, and design temp of the line= 500 degc

Can i use 5-110-1A.FAT file for material fatigue properties for A312 TP316L Stainless material pipe. please help me

What sort of fatigue analysis are you seeking?

The expansion stress range calculations found in most piping codes is, in a way, a fatigue evaluation - at the system level. The stress intensification factors relate geometry to relative fatigue strength and the cyclic factor f reduces the the allowed stress range.

If, with CAESAR II alone, you are looking for localized fatigue evaluation, say, peak stress at a fillet weld, your expectations exceed program capability.

As the content of the file states, 5-110-1A.FAT is DESIGN FATIGUE CURVES FOR CARBON, LOW ALLOY, SERIES 4XX, HIGH ALLOY AND HIGH TENSILE STEELS FOR TEMPERATURES NOT EXCEEDING 700 F FOR UTS <= 80 KSI (I'm not shouting, I simply copied and pasted the file text.)
