mariog Member Registered: 09/29/07 Posts: 798 Loc: Romania	You can study the differences by comparing the basis for establishing allowable stress values, described in the mandatory Appendix 1 of SECTION II, PART D with the requirements of B31.3/ 302.3.2 You can find out some details in J.P.Ellenberger's book "Piping Systems & Pipeline ASME Code Simplified" Best regards.
