I am performing stress analysis of GRE piping as per ISO 14692 using CII 5.30 . When defining "OCC" load cases, the "Occ Load Factor" under the "Load Case Options" is set to zero which should mean the default value of 1.33 as per ISO 14692-3. However the "Allowable" stress for OCC load case in the Static output processor is 0.0 unless I manually enter 1.33 for the Occ load factor.
Would anyone be able explain why this is happening ?

Changes made to the config file will not change existing occasional load factors.

Be aware, too, that the occasional load factor used by CAESAR II will be the product of the occasional load factor specified in the Load Case Options and the factor specified in the ISO 14692 allowable stress window.

Hi Dave,

I haven't made any changes to the config file. When I start a new file as per ISO 14692 and define a load case as occasional, the "Allowable Stress" for this load case in the Static Out put processor is 0.0 . Not sure if I'm doing anything wrong ?
