I'd like to know your opinion about the nowadays pipe stress engineer. Where can you place him/her within an organisation.

My opinion is that stress is seen as secondary, and a stress engineer is maybe well paid as freelance but has no opportunity as staff. As ordinary Piping engineers have no stress background, it is difficult make them accept the necessity of layout changes due to stress reasons.
