Hi,

Can anyone help me on this problem, regarding my unit file
which is supposedly to be in millimeters. The unit file is fine and verified in the input echo to be in mm unit.
Only inside the piping classic input that units are conflicting. I did try to convert the input file again, unfortunately an error came.

As of the moment, we dont have a lot of time to redo the models just to correct the units.

Thanks you all in advance.

By the way, the problem is now fixed using a higher version 5.3.

Thanks.

Before doing this, make sure your client accept 5.3 files, because once converted in 5.3 there is no way back.

You got it Dan.
Exactly, as you thought. I was so glad that everything goes well and i am thinking that it's easy to save to file into a lower version from caesar. However, finding the solution
is now my problem. I tried to convert the caesar input to neutral file but a prompt would say "File does not exist."

Please advice. Im a day old using this new version of Caesar II.

Careful what you're doing. Saving into lower version can be sometimes dangerous as you already find out.

Sometimes the message "File does not exist." occur when in fact the file is transformed in ._a file. open another file and try again.

I hope that you have the original files saved in another location, if not ask the IT to restore a back-up copy (from yesterday for example).

All this operations you need to do in a separate folder.

Your first option is to try again to work only in 5.2 and not to go up and down with the revisions.

Maybe some read-write access was the initial problem.

I never had problems to convert files to new unit files.
